We are War At Work. Together we have been asked to explain certain artifacts of our family's history.

We've been doing interviews to find out about the way of life in World War II.

Jenny and Deborah:We have brought our Grandad's reports of when he was in the navy. He has received medals and certificate's to honour his work. We have brought a photograph of him at work.

Anna: I have brought photographs of my Great Grand parents.

Sinead: I have brought my Great Grandfathers wallet which he used during the war
Francesca: I have brought a picture of my grandfather in his army uniform.Also i have a picture of my grandmother in her land army uniform.

Kirsty: I have brought in pictures of my great grandmother and grandfather. also a certificate of service for the royal air force which was my grandfathers also photo's of him in the at work.As most of that side of the family is Irish and i have an old Irland map.
