More to it than a new Playstation
The millennium is a time for celebration,
Not just because there is a second Playstation.
We must remember Christ was born
On that very first Christmas morn.
People just don’t seem to see,
What the millennium is really meant to be.
It’s not about spending thousands of pounds,
On a massive big wheel, or to improve towns.
It’s very annoying how people say
“The millennium is here, Hooray! Hooray!
I’ll have a big party, and drink beer all night!”
But they don’t know the meaning of that big night.
Some people think computers will rule,
Some people think there will be no school.
But all I think is Christ was born,
Two thousand years ago
On that very first Christmas morn.
