Y2K, hooray as a new year, a new day Hooray. The year 2000 celebrations all around the world Berlin, Benidorm, and Brazil. From France to Fiji, dancing the boogie! When everybody’s full of joy, happy and friends are talking about what they will change for the new year, like fitness or habits.
Welcome to the year Y2K Fireworks popping, don’t hold the delay. The London Eye is very high It’s a count down dream and a sparkling gleam Of the fireworks popping in the sky. The millennium bug that never was Celebrations everywhere, the breezing night air, It’s a year of peace and a brand new niece, That was born in the countdown rage. Millennium is a time of that people celebrate. I like to celebrate with my mate. Lots of people count down from 10. Lots of people are having fun. Everybody is happy now the year has come. Now the year has come everybody is getting excited. I do like to stay with my Mum & Dad and have some more fun. Under the millennium bridge. Millennium Millennium.
The fireworks went bang,The glasses Went clang, The celebrations began. The beacons were lit, Guess what? It’s the Y2K, The bug didn’t come everything’s ok! As the clock strikes 12 o’clock, You can watch the fireworks go off, Tilbury Dock was alight with colour.
Big Ben goes clang, clang, clang, Fireworks go bang, bang, bang. The London Eye starts turning, More and more people are learning. The Millennium Dome opens at last, People come in thick and afast. People counting down to 12 o’clock, When it comes it’s quite a shock. Fireworks lighting up the sky, Join the party don’t be shy.
The millennium is a celebration To have a lot of fun, When the clock strikes 12 o’clock We know it now has come. See the rockets go by, Purple and silver my oh my, People drinking whiskey and wine, Having a really good time. The London eye Doesn’t go chug, chug But people are scared of the, Millennium bug.
It was 1 minute to go, Until the millennium show Coming in at 12 o’clock It’s the new millennium You were going to stay up all night Big Ben Bangs! We are going to party in the Millennium Dome We are going to have a party Which everybody knows It’s the year 2000!!!!
10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. 12 o’clock strikes, everything alights. Fireworks bang, most people sang. Millennium.
2000, 2000 it can’t be true when it strikes midnight the year will be new, BANGS and FLASHES people cheer We have started the 2000th year. People are worried the bugs coming around,the computers are crashing there is no sound.The Dome is open people get lost McDonalds is packed never mind the cost.2000, 2000 it can’t be true when it strikes midnight the year will be new!

Y2K Millennium, Millennium Hip, hip, Hooray Come to the party Of Millennium festival. Come and enjoy yourself When we went on our space walk I saw a space museum. It looked really fun and interesting.

Here it comes It’s the Millennium bug, gold and silver, walking around with red eyes and green legs walking down the computer cables breaking the big computer They said it would come. But it didn’t, did it?

The dome is chrome The wheel is grey The bridge is gold The big posts are silver The streets are messy The noise is high How high? How high? The fireworks fly The river is gold Because of the fire.
The millennium is a different term. A year with a difference Many structures were built for the millennium The Dome, the Wheel, the Bridge, but there is something better than them all that is the change to the new century.
