Stepping Out are a group of young people who need extra learning support. They meet four days a week at Rawlins Community College, Quorn during term time. They work towards
independence on a 2 year course that is accredited. They do a variety of activities from health & safety and DIY to cooking, computing & the arts.
Throughout the year they organise day trips to visit places of interest and do all sorts of outdoor & sports activities. Through Arts College the group also take part in an annual 'Arts Week' at the beginning of July. This involves diverse workshops in drama, dance, music, visual arts and includes theatre and museum trips.
The group work together in a friendly and fun atmosphere, and potential students, carers and parents are very welcome to visit.
